We have recently applied for permission to build a 2-storey residential property above an existing shop in the old port of Dun Laoghaire, south Dublin.
The proposal includes partial demolition of derelict buildings along the 50m site and the development will provide a large 3 bedroom family home in the commercial centre of the town.
HCA bids a fond farewell to Marta as she begins her journey to becoming a specialist in conservation. Her hard work, energy in the office and wonderful cooking skills will be missed! We wish her joy and success as she ventures on this new chapter.
Marta is now a Conservation Registrant working towards becoming an RIBA Conservation Architect.
You can find her in the RIBA Conservation Registrant List (click here to see list)
The new extension to St Peter’s Church Petersham has been shortlisted for the President’s Award for Church Architecture. The shortlist has been published in the National Church Trust’s website, see link here.
The practice has recently started work on a residential project in Dublin. We will soon launch a second office in the Dun Laoghaire area of Dublin bringing our experience of working in sensitive contexts in both rural and urban locations.
The Dublin office will be run on a permanent basis by one of our directors, Giles and we are actively looking for new opportunities to expand our range of work in Ireland.
