This Grade II listed cottage had suffered from major water damage, resulting in extensive rot to the roof and other timber elements.
We have taken down the entire roof structure and are rebuilding it, along with the upper front façade. An elaborate panelled room had to be dismantled and stored for later reinstallation, when the major structural work is complete.
We are also removing inauthentic additions to the interior, which will make the building lighter and better planned.
