We converted this Victorian terrace house into a media consultant’s office with adjoining maisonette above. There are conference rooms and a screening room in the basement, while the residential areas are in the upper floors of the building, with access to the garden.
The moods of the two areas overlap, like the life of the consultant. However, alongside the flexibility of a live / work building there is a deliberate functional distinction, allowing a busy family life to flourish alongside the business.
This project is featured in ‘Topical Building‘, a 2017 monograph on the work of Hugh Cullum Architects.
