We completely refurbished and extended this 1840s Grade II listed semi-detached villa to create a delightful and comfortable home for a writer and her family. Whilst preserving and reinstating the original features we lowered the lower ground floor level and built a modern glazed extension to improve the connection with the garden. The design was developed in close co-operation with the interior designer Constanze von Unruh.
